I didn't know Optifine caused issues. I've always added it to every pack and have never experienced any issues. I play with it on Hypixel, I play with it on modded servers, I use it in singleplayer. Never any issues.

Why isn't it standard included in FTB Packs, anyone that comes on here and asks, "How do I improve my FPS?" And the first thing everyone says is, "Add Optifine." So why isn't it just like in there by default like FTB Utils is.

At the end of the day, it's still thermal. You make some Alloys to upgrade your machines. And yeah a few new machines like the Phytogenic Isolator but that's about it and a bunch of new power generation options such as refined fuel. Why couldn't nuclear craft be the tech mod in the pack?

For that, a good idea would be that specific ores only spawn in specific biomes such as Nickel only spawns in swamps but things like Iron and Diamonds spawn normally.

I do agree with @asb3pe, that FTB challenge packs aren't spectacularly unique. The issue has nothing ore gen or gregtech or anything like that. (I hate you gregtech) The problem is that they don't use new mods. For example, FTB Continuum will probably consist of the Thermal Suite, Botania, Blood...

The PE thing is great. You meet a ton more people than you ever could on any Java server because so many people are connected together on the same platform. Once they finish that modding API, I feel like most of the stuff will happen on the PE version.

I'm gonna assume your talking about refined storage because you said crafters. Refined storage is horrible with massive autocrafting. In skyfactory I tried autocrafting a Draconic Tier Solar Panel, and it just didn't work due to the complexity of the craft.

Most modpacks run an internal server instead of a world for single-player games due to it being modded and having chunk loading and such. I feel like backups happen every 5 minutes. Don't quote me on that though.
