Choosing a house doesn't restrict you from using the other school's magic. The quests were originally supposed to merely enhance the pack, but have kinda evolved into the pack's main feature. Which is awesome, tbh. But not choosing Thaumcraft doesn't stop you messing with it. As for rep - it...

It's more than likely that player has modified the quest book. By design, you should only be able to unlock two houses.

I typed directly into the book, which unfortunately doesn't have a spellchecker. Apparently, my spelling... sucks. to say the least. I'll run it through a spellchecker first next time :p

To summarise- it's a third party pack hosted by FTB. We can't update or edit the pack- only the end users (you) or the original pack creator (Iskandar) can. Its fully the pack creators responsibility, not ours, to update the mods within pack- which the pack creator understood and agreed to when...

There was originally team of about thirteen of us. I wrote all the Witchery quests, the quest for the mod that you're on about who's name I can never remember, and the Reliquary (Hedge Mage Arsenal) quests. Glad you're enjoying them :)

I'll work on one. For now, I'll tell you that Forestry, AgriCraft, Pam's Harvestcraftt and Spice of Life provide the main mechanisms behind the pack, and no ores are generated (asides from salt). Without the quests, (coming soon, I promise!) it's a pretty tough pack to get started with...

Actually, I wrote that one. The basis was to craft a Mana Apple. The mod hasn't been updated Since the packs initial release, yet worked in the past version, so I never checked those quests. . If I had to guess, some other mod has tweaked or derped the Mana Apple. Will look into it.
