There's an update thread on at least every page of the forum. If you take a look at almost any of them, they get locked. You probably shouldn't ask for ETAs, unless you WANT this to be locked.

All right! I have a 1.6 world set up, and I have a tree farm with MFR set up, right? Well, here's my problem: This happens every single time I look away. It's like it's complaining that I'm not giving it any attention, or something. How am I supposed to tweak this system to make it work?

Maybe you could have a pack for your own (public?) server, and then post your modpacks if you have the permissions. People can then download the pack, and suggest new ones, which you may or may not include.

I don't know much about it, but didn't Battlefield 4 have a huge team of developers? O_0 Anyways, the audio manager was rewritten in 1.7. I'm not sure if it made much of a difference, though. Minecraft seriously needs a visual rewrite, however, that's for sure. I agree with your config option...

Kind of off the autominer topic, but can there be configs for turning off the sounds of the individual machines (unless they're already there)? When I'm wearing headphones, the Electric Furnace really hurts my ears because it's so high-pitched.

My pack worked out of the box for it. But then again, I'm not using MPS, or BoP, or Mekanism for that matter. :P

You could make stupidly complex builds! Make things WAYYY more complicated then they should be. Like, hey, that tree farm? It goes from, say, the MultiFarm to furnaces and fermenters to engines and boilers. Add 2-3 more steps in between. For example, make the saplings into IC2 plant balls with...

Wall of text! Okay, here's what I think. I think difficulty and rewards should be changeable IN-GAME. Not just through configs. Bam. Opinion stated.

They also hired Searge, member of the MCP team. I think some awesome stuff will happen with his presence at Mojang.

:O I'VE TOTALLY GOT ONE! Okay, there's this laser mounted on a... base-thing ( :P ), and it shoots lasers around itself in a circular fashion, and outputs to a chest directly adjacent to it (or a Transporter? ;) ). When it's done, you're left with the quarry with a little island in the middle...

Perhaps... A form of automated mining? There are only four that I can think of ATM: BC Quarry, Thaumcraft Arcane Bore, RC Tunnel Bore, and MFFS quarry-thing-that-is-super-complicated-and-makes-my-head-hurt. I need a super simple, easily automated mining machine. EDIT: maybe not super simple...

You could also put a Grinding Upgrade Core in a Force Furnace, if you want an automatable version. :)
