I once played a vanilla world with a custom terrain generator that created spherical floating islands with glass domes, but the author forgot to include any clay whatsoever in the worldgen.
For farming tainted goo/tendrils for use in crafting, or for taming a giant Hungry Node for powering Vis Relays. You feed the node with items to boost its aspects, taint it to stop it being hungry, then move it, stabilize it, and transduce it.
We were having a productive discussion about the renewability of resources in a closed system, then someone came along and disrupted it by claiming that a word that we were using didn't mean what we were using it to mean. All I did was try to clarify what we meant by the word in the context of...
It's not semantics, it's merely an attempt to use words in a meaningful way. I use the term "renewable" to refer to resources that you don't have to keep on expanding your worldgen to get more of. Things that can be renewed within a closed system. Saying "everything (except End Portal Blocks) is...
You'd have to use a floating point value, or change the scale radically, after all what does it mean to have 0.999 or 1.998 EMC in a table?
That isn't what "renewable" means.
So you've set up frame machines with a single chunk loader and never had a problem? Interesting. I wonder if the problems are just down to timing, if you happened to log out while the machine was in the middle of a move then perhaps when the world re-loads it might not load up the chunks because...
Exactly. I have a lever that I flip off and on, I'll look into if there is an inverted button (Chisel? Carpenter's? Deco/Biblio?), or some simple way to invert a button signal. I might replace the EnderIO cables with something like Rednet to do that. Or just pop a redstone torch behind the button.
Has anyone else had problems with their Vis Relays becoming disconnected? I have worked around the problem by mounting them all inside Drawbridges and setting up a lever so I can retract and re-deploy them all, and then they re-connect correctly.

What is the bug:
On updating from 1.4.1 to 1.6.1, Steve's Factory Manager has replaced Liquid XP settings with Manyullin, and all triggers that were based on redstone control have been changed to regular interval triggers.

Change log may not yet be finished as I guessed the URI rather than following a link. As it says, "Detailed Changes and Correct Versions on the side will be completed on the weekend. Apologies for the delays".
They are Portal Spawners, and the top-half problem is well known. For instance, I know that it happens any time a Portal Spawner is moved by Funky Locomotion.
