Someone want to make a server with me?

You should add your time zone and perharps your age to attract more people.

IndustrialCraft2 Zinnerz und Kupfererz für den Scanner

The "Unifier" of Minefactory Reloaded can convert one ore dictionary item to a correspondent one of another mod. Try this to convert TE ingots into IN2 ingots.

Ask a simple question, get a simple answer

Use an import bus on the chest, or if your quarry is running fast, use a precision import bus on the chest, because it can move 1 stack at once. And be aware that "import" and "export" are related to the ME system itself and not attached inventories. So you would need an import bus to get items...

Woops. Erm, .. better safe than sorry, eh? :p It for a fact works with other gearboxes.

How to transfer ReactorCraft steam from a steam boiler to a tank (e.g. from Railcraft or BC via ducts ect.) ? It seems like steam ducts of ReactorCraft are not compatible with other mods. They do not connect.

    Preferred Java Version..

Java 8 is not released for the normal user. Only for devs. There is no point in using it as a player yet. Better use the latest stable Java 7 release. Java 8 may even cause problems because many things have changed. FTB/Minecraft is not even ready for Java 7 explicitly. It's made for Java 6. RAM...

    MFFS not fully forming

I also expierienced this. Max size for me is an about 64 blocks radius. If I insert more scale modules, the field won't establish properly. And it's not a matter of energy. I tested in creative mode with plenty of coersion derivers and stuff powered by a buffered 20kRF/t BigReactor. Btw. my 64...

ME chests, ME drives, storage busses - pros and cons?

I switch to AE asap by using some unformatted 4k disks to get rid of my chests. Usually I have not more than 4 or 5 normal chests when starting the first tiny ME system. Whenever an item exceeds about 2k-3k units, I move it to it's separate pre-formatted disk. But like I said, I never touched ME...

ME chests, ME drives, storage busses - pros and cons?

Yes, the overview of an individual cell is sometimes helpful. This is something that annoys me from time to time if I only have the type and byte count of a non-formatted cell, but no idea what's really stored on it. Actually no. I use pre-formatting alot to not waste big disks with 63 item...

ME chests, ME drives, storage busses - pros and cons?

If you are building your storage system with Applied Energistics in SSP or SMP, which storage technique do you use the most? And why? I like ME drives, because they are compact and easy to setup and manage. The costs for the drives are negligible and the storage cells are not cheap, but also...

Charging my Flux Tool while mining?

You need to use a better capacitor. Use the next tier "Redstone Flux Capacitor". It should work fine with the hammer as it can output 2000 RF/t.

Clever applications for Computercraft turtles and computers?

I'm using basic computers from ComputerCraft as logic gates for redstone circuits instead of building them with repeaters, comparators, pistons, torches and stuff. They are very cheap and the reaction is instant and can be varied in every way.

Power Suit Draining power from other things

As far as I know, MPS will charge your tools, as long as you have NO energy cell in the power fist. As soon as you insert a cell in the power fist, it will start drain your tools. I have an energy cell in the chest armor part and it's not draining but charging every RF- or EU-powered tool in my...

Clever applications for Computercraft turtles and computers?

I don't have this mod installed. And since it adds things to world generation, I will not install this on my FTB Direwolf server. Have to try this in single player. But afaik Project Red bundled cables do not connect to computers at all, like RedPower2 cables did. So probably the same workaround...

Clever applications for Computercraft turtles and computers?

Not in the most recent version of CC (1.63). Support for this is gone. The problem is, that rednet cables now connect to a computer like it would be a normal redstone device. They are now showing a color ring at the connection point, which means you can only activate the currently set color of...

Clever applications for Computercraft turtles and computers?

After I saw this video I thought: "This has to be able with computers also". So I wrote two different programs that use 5 computers to control rednet cables with all 16 colors. 1 computer is used as input to select the colors to activate and 4 are used for handling the colored rednet cable...

    Automating Wool Farming

You can also search a natual spider spawner or capture a spider with a reusable safari net and then spawn and harvest them in a dark room with MFR grinders around. They will drop strings 24/7. 4 string = 1 Wool.

Question ... Is there a way to explore the deep dark without torches?

The Modular Powersuits mod has a lux capacitor upgrade for the power fist. With this you can place an unlimited amount of lux capacitors. And you can "shoot" them, which is really nice to explore areas.

Clever applications for Computercraft turtles and computers?

Those clickable screens are really nifty. Never new this was possible. Not so special. But I wrote an energy control program for BigReactors to adjust the power output to match the current demand and keep the internal buffer always full. So it always runs as fuel efficient as possible. Another...
