Who is not saying that? UniZero is saying that Java needs more memory allocated to it and those arguments will help with that.

I'm glad you got the launcher working pretty much lag free, but Java 8(.1) is still in beta so we do not suggest using it. According to the help desk half the people are able to use it successfully and the other half not.

If you are able to log into the server try setting it to peaceful for a little while. You may have to change the world properties if you are unable to log in.
