This is not true, i dont know if this chnages in 4.1, but ive tested every posible situation and pure nodes do not remove the tainted modifier from a tainted node.

I was wondering, is there a list of sorts that explain the different modifiers on nodes? so far ive only seen: bright, pale, pure, tainted, sinister, unstable. Like i have no clue what an unstable modifier does to the node?

This needs to happen.

I have both tried Ethereal Bloom and Pure Nodes in Silverwood Trees, but neither remove the "Tainted" from the nodes. The only thing i could use them for is, if i were to move the tainted node and plop a ton of ethereal blooms close to in order to prevent the spread of taint. But i'm afraid that...

But they have such nice aspects to them :S the only way to remove taint is with advanced thaumaturgy mod, but we dont have it on Monster :S

I have figured out it is the Arcane Transmutator that crashes my client

Ok so i tried to research something by using piles of ashes from BoP, as they have permutatio and fractus. As soon as I press the research button the client crashes. The ModPack is FTB Unleashed 1.1.3 (recommended).

At home whenever i run my launcher i can select the FTB Unleashed 1.1.4 pack, but im currently on my laptop and just downloaded the launcher (1.2.7) and the Unleashed 1.1.4 is not showing? Do i have to change settings?
