Every time something changes in minecraft it read/writes to the drive...SSDs are a HUGE improvement in servers...though, with only 3-4 people it's probably safe to not worry about it as a HDD should be able to handle it :).

I could see the CPU being a limiting factor in that build. Depending on how many players are on (if it's just a few friends it might be ok though). While 3ghz is decent...monster can use a lot of cpu power if things start getting busy, tons of machines, etc. It would also be very worth it to...

do not bump your thread, this is a forum, not a chat room. People can't respond every 15 minutes. All that will do is make people not want to reply due to your impatience ;). Look in your server mods folder at the mentioned mods and make sure they are there (and are not marked with .disabled)

it should. are you using MCPC+? If so, do you see any Compat folders/files in the plugins directory? Also, what pack did you download?

And still neither one actually blew up. I guess there can be a case for Fukushima as there were a few gas explosions...but nothing nuclear in nature. Melt Down /= explosion.
