    I've also found that Vanilla generally has the same FPS as my modded worlds. Is this normal?

    Haha, you're probably right. Knowing my computer I'll probably get 5 FPS after making an igneous extruder, though...

    I got my instance of Resonant Rise (124 mods) to average about 60FPS in RWG with fastcraft and 2GB of RAM allocated. Totally doing a happy dance right now.

    Is this ok for ftb?

    4GB works fine if you have 64-bit Java. I can run almost any pack at 30-40 FPS in the overworld and 120+ FPS in skyblock maps. Superflat/other dimensions work great too.

    Just found out that the pre-Beta 1.8 biome 'Rainforest' used to be read by some as 'Pain Forest'... So glad 'Rainforest' didn't turn out to be Tainted Land at all.
