    I just want new terrain to be BoP terrain gen instead of amplified, I can just move my base with world edit to a new random spot on the map.

    How do I change terrain gen after creating the world? I have a world thats pretty far along and I don't want to lose the current terrain. I tried using MCedit but that ruined my base, all my machines were turned to sand, trees turned into conveyor belts, taint turned into fluix blocks, etc.

    Kind of wish I took a picture, basically I exported the surrounding area + my house so I could put it on a different map but that seemed to mess everything up. My modded trees, the leaves turned into conveyor belts, my carpenter torches turned into slabs, the entire taint biome next to me turned...

    I recently had to move my base with MCedit, needless to say that was a bad idea. MCedit does NOT like moving modded blocks at all. I was wondering is there a safe way to do this? I accidentally selected Amplified world type instead of BoP.

    Is this a new thing? I played it back in 1.6.4 and very early 1.7.10 with no lag problems on an absolutely huge logistic pipes setup. (talking 300+ crafting recipes autocrafting system)

    Why not? Is it personal preference or has the mod author stated "not allowed in modpacks"? Also thanks smoke, I didn't know the channel system was disableable.

    Will it break the mod pack if I were to use buildcraft 3.2 instead of the 3.3 included? I want to be able to add logistics pipes but it only supports buildcraft 3.2. Edit: nvm, it seems it was updated 3 days ago to support BC 3.3.2 Will you be adding quests and/or will logistics pipes be added...

    Why does the 3x ore processing take so much power? 1600 RF/t Also is there some problem with world gen? I have been exploring for 3 hours or so an no villages or much of anything except mooshroom biomes and those huge hill landscapes.

    I really hate the in world crafting and the channel system just seems so restricting. That and having to find plates and the fact that to craft anything useful in the mod requires 13 other crafting recipes just makes it to tedious for me to find fun. I am fine with missing out on that section.

    So, Are there any alternative mods to applied energistics in this pack? Mainly mass storage related? And would it completely break things if I added logistics pipes. (I really really dislike AE2, to the point of I won't even do any of its quests)

    Is there a way to make Material Energy ^3 a bit of a harder experience? Would adding those random boss mob mods be a bit overkill? (I don't want a life system as it doesn't support it)
