Try exploring a bit more the modest hive isn't the only type of hive have spawns in the world.

Well.. there is just one make sure to have particles set to all as anything below that stops the bubbles appearing.

I edited my post after deciding to test and found that actually any combo of drones/princesses will work only other thing I can think is that some people have commented that sometimes the cactus has the wrong I.D. maybe that is your problem as the cactus has to be minecraft.

Yes they are disabled maybe thephoenixlodge will add them to the restrictions list for 0.7 if were lucky :D The NEI recipe is being derpy it works with 3 x common drones & 1 x common princess but... according to minetweaker scripts it looks like it's meant to be any 3 x drone and any 1 x...

I had this problem when using MultiMC if either of you are using MultiMC try switching to the FTB launcher Regrowth seems to run better for me and a few other on the FTB launcher.

If you have the warding wand foci use that on your desired light source if not try using a hollow cover with a piece of glowstone behind it the hollow cover will let the light through the hole.

It depends what your trying to do with them if using them on a pipe or pump give them a redstone signal. They longer produce RF/MJ when connected to conductive pipes.

Can you provide a bit more information like a crash report?
