What would be cool is if you could use the RotaryCraft friction heater to heat the smeltery. Be a neat little way to bypass the lava requirement while requiring fair progression to get useful results.

I think it'd be a great idea, since smelteries are pretty cool for alloying things together and TiC tools kick major ass. Alas, I'm not sure if the devs would like that kinda thing or not...

Reporting it here is fine, I think Reika's got a separate thing for issues on his Github. If memory serves, this is a known issue that will likely be resolved by the time v10 rolls out.

Huh, that's odd. I think there's a slight bug involving the ethereal door not wanting to be harvestable after its been linked with its neighbours...at least, that was my experience with them. The key should be able to open them, though, might need to fiddle with the doors using the manipulator...

I think you can shift-right click them with the manipulator. At least, that's how you pop off repeaters, tile accelerators, and a handful of other odds and ends.

How would the client know ahead of time? Unless you add in some kind of predictive methods, such a thing would border on impossible. The server generates the cache as pylon chunks are made, this is the simplest implementation that doesn't involve something incredibly complex.

I think the second tab on the right side lets you copy stuff into a book that you know so long as you have paper and ink your inventory.

You need to make the infusion stand multiblock. Note that its generally best to infuse a whole stack of raw crystals at a time, to get the best bang for your buck.
