EIO was already a great mod before the Rise of the Lemming. It only got the recognition it deserved now due to people needing a pipe/duct replacement and TE didn't managed to get the ducts out in time due to RL.

IIRC, didn't cursed earth got changed to only burn in sun light instead of any light source? I remember I saw a changelog with regards to this so people can still use light to disable cursed earth rooms.

It shouldn't be affecting Reika's popularity. If people didn't like a mod, they should just not use it instead of whining it to be changed to their liking. The mod belongs to the modder, not the users. Users with entitlement issues are the ones killing the modding community with their attitude.

I agree with Shneekey for most of the points but I would say RailCraft, BuildCraft and it's addons are still worthwhile for players who wants to do it. RailCraft provides you alternative way to handle logistical transportation for people who dislike "magic block" methods of teleportation...
