ah another option, thanks, ill try to automate that crooking though, fishing just doesn't float my boat, but if needs must. Withers: terrible at cloud farming. still need something for it to break though, hence the block placer, ah i see i totally misunderstood that, u gotta hit the water...

Everything looks terrible to begin with, I roughed out the contours in cobble and it was just an eyesore for the longest time until I generated the dirt and the motivation to fill it out. Ah, was more concerned with changing the current jungle to magical, which would perhaps cause Pech...

As a cosmetic choice after the loss of my 1st world, this time I went single island. so not really an option.

Hehe yeah is an option, any problems with too many Pechs that way though, the thieving little buggers, I can just imagine them going apeshit at a sieve. Warp books seem fine out of the binder, I used one for jumping to aura nodes before I could move them and they were really reliable. Bridges...

Problem is that the problem is with vanilla, I set up shop on a server on a junction of a few biomes and the ocelots took over everything there too. I suppose I could easily magical forest up those areas, the other options are makes it a giant lake, which I already did to get rid of swampy...

Since this is also a venting thread I would just love to say I'm totally sick of fricking ocelots, as soon as you turf a jungle area no other passive mob will spawn coz of those damn things, granted the spawns are so insane you can fuel a Well of Suffering with the freaking things but still, so...

Or fill a portable tank or buckets in it and dump it in that openblocks tank, not a problem. Portable tanks are usually the best bet to get out every last drop.

Output from the magma crucible, not the fluid transposer, the transposer is not needed and I think it doesn't have an output for fluids.

Well for steel the iron goes in the ingot shaped slots, the charcoal goes in the single slot at the bottom, then in the 3 vertical different slots, gunpowder top, redstone or aluminium dust in middle and sand at the bottom.

Or another option is to chuck a priest villager(the purple dudes) in witch water, that changes them into a witch, then auto spawner em for tons of redstone, glowstone etc.

hehe cool, was kinda surprised at the results of my tests, according to the math 23 blocks should be fatal to all but perhaps zombies(not incl witches and endermen ofc). Interestingly the enderman farm I usually build in vanilla uses a 43 block drop, which should also kill endermen acc to the...

I created a new world and actually tested this, I've been using a 23 block drop for a long time, and it works, there is no difference in damage between 22 and 23 blocks. I dropped skellies and zombies from both heights and they all had 1/2 a heart left. There is definetely something odd...

Mystery nets are fun though, although I advise making some empty safari nets to grab anything dangerous that pops out before it ruins your day and a nice cobble room far from your main base just in case anything explosive appears(bats with tnt or ghasts for example). Anything particularly nasty...

haha amusingly decided to test the drop, see if anything has changed, 22 or 23, makes no difference whatsoever, still 1/2 a heart on all the mobs i dropped from both. theres something fishy about those 3 "free" blocks. so 22 is probably better, allows for the mobs to jump around a bit. He...

I understand that math, but it doesn't seem to quite work like that, the problem is that most mobfarms push mobs with water or conveyors causing them to be a tiny bit higher or to jump, set a ledge for a mobs to stand on and be pushed off by the mob behind and 23 blocks works perfectly.

yeah there are a few easy ways to make ink sacs, really not a problem, I have a big lake on my map and they spawn there constantly, I actually had to remove the pearl oysters from the bottom of the lake as my magnetism on my armor was annoyingly grabbing squid drops whenever i went near.

Well you could always build a squid spawning pool, anywhere between y42 and 63 squiddies will spawn in water. And as a side comment, 23 blocks is the magic drop height for 1 shotting mobs with a bare fist, apart from zombies, which are always 2 punch.
