Latest mindcrack pack. Flew about 7000 blocks from spawn. Game crashes with internal server error. Now I can't even log back in. It just keeps crashing. I know it's the distance because another player was having problems at that spot, they were able to log back in though. Would like to...

You were right, it was forwarding to .5 on wireless, needed to be forwarded to .9 hardwired. Thank you : ). Working hardwired now.

Server works on wireless, not when plugged in

I'm not posting my IP address in a public forums :p, and people are on the server right now so I'm not booting them to test things. I will take a look tomorrow.

Server works on wireless, not when plugged in

yea that's the MAC, the server doesn't use the MAC. I've already renewed my internal IP several times and not needed to change any settings for wireless to continue working. People don't connect to 192.168.1.5, they connect to my modem's IP.

Server works on wireless, not when plugged in

the IP comes from the modem, not how it's plugged in. The IP doesn't change. The port is always 25565, so that doesn't change either.

Server works on wireless, not when plugged in

ftb server running on wireless, want to switch to hard wired to the back of my computer through an ethernet cable. Get polling... and then can't connect to the server while plugged in and wireless off.

Server works on wireless, not when plugged in

assuming there is though, how do you find out if there is a fault in the hardware aside from replacing it? Still keeping in mind that normal internet functions fine while plugged in.

brand new computer, probably isn't any damage to it.... but I guess I could try reinstalling the drivers

Server works on wireless, not when plugged in

reset the modem/router, tried different cable. Still won't work while plugged in directly :/

Server works on wireless, not when plugged in

It's fios, only one router and one modem, and they're the same. Maybe resetting it though, didn't try that. I'll see if it works.

Server works on wireless, not when plugged in

If it helps, it usually goes to limited after [username] moved wrongly [username] disconnected. But not always, and not always when someone moves wrongly.

Server works on wireless, not when plugged in

This is a weird one. The server works fine under a wireless connection. But, when I plug directly into my router, it refuses to work... just says Polling constantly. Everything else internet still works, but not the server. Why not go wireless? Because windows 8. I get this bullcrap...
