i think iv found what to do just delete the pack and redownload the 1.0.1 and not the recommended

as a user of both windows operating systems I would go with the 64bit windows 7 as there are still a few bugs with windows 8 ( ie drivers being compatible )

it could be the server not having enough ram to run the modpack try getting your friend to dedicate more ram to the server just thinking this might help

if you have optifine installed it crashes FTB try it without optifine and if all else fails try doing a force update and also are you running a 32 bit system or a 64 bit system if 32 then try updating to a 64 bit operating system as is could not be dedicating enough memory to run the launcher...

I have a config file for a pack I want to put together but it takes me over 30 min to load up the pack is there anyone out there that can help me speed up the process please I would like to get this pack on FTB at some point but I know it still needs some work done
