You can fix the "How of Growth" while you're at it....

Just found a major bug in the Vazkii cheat site... The Arcane Lamp is listed as a rather difficult infusion (Tenebrae!). My Thaumonomicon tells me it's a rather vis-cheap Arcane Crafting.

The cheat sheet on the dedicated site still features the "How of Growth". Which is also the name it gets searched under.

Well, I went back, and "bribing" him (the Pech Forager) was way faster the second time around. Also, he does take mana beans in trade, but that only gets you one item apiece, instead of the three or four you get for a piece of gold armor. Also, that coal and cobble he'd picked up did show up...

Mostly that I ran out of gold armor, so it'll be a little while before I can try again. I was figuring someone might well be able to hint me before then. Doesn't make game-sense if he's shut down for good, though, unless there's some other way to restock him.

So, I've been trading with my first Pech Forager, and he just ran out of green sparkles and stopped trading with me. The last couple of trades included stuff like torches and eggs -- does this mean he's actually run out of goods, or can I get more cool stuff if I prime him with more golden armor?

Hmm. The thing that bugs me regularly is, there's lots and lots of typographical errors and miswordings in those posts, to the point of making my reader's eye twitch. Frankly, it's bad enough that a full list would include "most of" the entries, and for people to report all of them would flood...

If the other lit nodes go dark when you disconnect that node, then that's your starting node (which can only connect to one rune), and I'm pretty sure the page is unsolvable. Toss the note and try again with a fresh one. (And if your starting node was the one on the right, moving the bottom...

I don't think there is either. What you can do if you have the nerve is toss the mostly-drained wand into a crucible for flux farming. Don't try that with a full wand, though -- even with a wooden wand, you'll get thaumic slimes bigger than your house!
