Im also crashing majorly with chicken chunks and code chicken core and too many items, and cannot post the console log cause it won't load pastebin nor copy the entire log cause it freezes and need to be closed via task manager, any help will be much appreciated.

I just got the mindcrack mod pack and the sphax texturepack with the addon 64x, and i noticed that some textures were missing E.G steam, ore nuggets, solar boiler and other blocks, and some were vanilla textures E.G oil sands and crude oil blocks, how can i fix this?

i got it working =D, all i had to do is to allocate more ram to the ftb launcher. if you are having the same problem as me, take a look at this and you would want just 3GB of RAM, hope this helped and thanks to all who helped also.
