Vel, thank you very much for your responses, but many of the questions that you are asking me have already been answered above you. But I shall answer again. It is not a barrel. Barrels can only accept input from top and send out from bottom. It is a crate/box/chest/etc to which I am referring.

Default, you say? How would you define a default route? Wouldn't straight from the quarry directly into a crate 3 blocks away be a direct route?
