On an unrelated note, I still have no way of making BC fluid pipes because the recipe requires liquid blueslime which is uncraftable..

I think the hydration system in general needs redoing because right now it's clunky and it has unintended issues with the Spice of Life mod (if you've drunk the same drink 3+ times you can't drink anymore even if you're super thirsty, which leads to unnecessary deaths). Also the Camel pack...

Apparently I need liquid blue slime to make fluid pipes... where do I get this? I only know about the 1 block of blue slime water in the sapling AE reward, but that's non-renewable.

Time to automate ore doubling with Buildcraft I guess :P It's been a long time since I even touched Buildcraft or Logistics pipes.

So I guess silk touch + vat + smeltery is the only reliable way to double ores atm?

How do you get more than 1 ingot from ores though? it seems the only decent source of ores is from the spires and those are pretty scarce. The meteors don't drop much either and take ages to hammer :(

Your body temperature is 50 degrees. It should be at 37. I'm guessing you stood too close to lava/fire and ignored the heat warnings. I suggest emptying out your inventory and sitting in water far away from any heat sources (including furnaces + torches) until your body heat goes back to normal.

Or better yet, have all these questions be answered as quests in the book so people who get lost can just look at the quests for guidance. IMO the modpack is great but the quest book seems a bit messy and the progression is strange and hard to understand from a newbie's perspective. I'm not...

I've been trying to automate cobblegen with the Rock smashers and the cobble drops into the lava almost every time :\ It doesnt seem to double ores either, am I missing something here? Also can you please make a recipe for smelting brass using the smeltery? Flaxbeard's crucible is painfully slow...

I dont understand how people are having so much problem with thirst. Personally I don't even bother making fresh water, I just live off leaves cider which I make with a few apple trees (Growthcraft apple trees, they're seriously OP), oak leaves with the shears I got from a quest and smelting...

I actually figured this out just before you replied, lol. Seems a bit grindy since you get 1 rock per gravel but oh well.

I found out the hard way that you can use Opis Minimap's teleport ability while in Survival mode... and by "the hard way", I mean dying on Hardcore by teleporting directly on top of a horde of mobs above my hidey hole at night :mad:

Is charcoal basically out of the question in 1.0.5? Only early way to make sawdust is from the Metallurgy crusher, it seems... except you need to put more than 1 coal worth of fuel in to make 1 charcoal. Plus you need 2 logs to make 1 charcoal. Edit: Didn't notice the change to coal torches...
