    Last time I tried, diamond dollies couldn't be crafted. But I've been using the Thaumic Tinkerer's dislocation focus to move spawners. With my witchwood wand, by the time I set the spawner down, the vis is already recharged. :)

    You can use a biome painter from Random Things and just paint areas with the Eerie or the Magical Forest biomes, since taint doesn't spread to those.

    To get vines, just grow jungle trees, they grow on the sides. For lily pads, use Botania's alchemy catalyst, and throw some vines into a mana pool with the catalyst beneath it.     I could swear that in 1.6.4 the lectern had to be facing towards the lever for the altar to work. Huh.

    In 1.6.4 I struggled with the altar, mostly because of the placement of the lever and the lectern. Make sure you place those exactly like the book says, even respecting the orientation of the lectern. See it that fixes it.

    You're right, it's not the Unity resource pack, it's vanilla AM2. I just assumed it was since AM2 didn't used to look like this. But without any resource pack on, the table is looks good, as you can see here. Are you sure you don't have a resource pack that breaks it? As for the spell creation...

    I'm using CyanideX's Unity resource pack, it redoes the AM2 textures, including the armor imbuement table one, making it usable. It also makes AM2 look gorgeous. You should try it.

    The artifacts that convert into Emeralds might be disabled, they are in my version of the pack, which is 1.1.6, I think. Also, villagers shed emeralds once in a while, so just keep some in your base for free emeralds. One thing I've also noticed is that using the backpacks you can drain milk...

    That's not WAILA, that's a Special Mobs feature. You can disable it in the Special Mobs config.

    Soulbound only lets you keep items when dying, you can still drop soulbound items to the ground intentionally or have them stolen from you by mobs.

    Right now I use a Calefactor fed with the three different power types from AM2. Before I had a Pickaxe of the Core, and just kept mining my ore blocks until they dropped clusters, which can be smelted into two ingots.

    Are you using Artifact's armor? That might be it, it's a bit bugged.

    In the pack I don't think there's anything that can do that for you, but if you're not against adding mods, you could add the Enchvil mod, it can remove enchantments from any items and put them into books.

    Also, if you find yourself stuck in the research, you need to get the Primordial Pearl research in addition to much of the TH research, to get to what you want.

    They only grow if left alone for a time, or if you use a Hoe of Growth on them. Also, for single tree you only need one sapling.

    I think the quests to choose a magical school only give you a head start, they don't lock you out from other magical schools.

    Make a Witching Gadgets Abacus, if you right click it on the altar it will tell you the stability boost in numbers, so you can tell if adding more objects is still having an effect. As a bonus, it also tells you the instability of the current recipe on the altar, so you can tell if your altar...
