I got it to work the first try, I'm assuming you meant the vanilla furnace so that is what I used for my test, but the attached image should help. Edit: Inside the furnace I used coal to burn logs for the charcoal.

What are you trying to use? You can use transfer node (items), and I'm pretty sure relocator pipes work as well. More information about what you are doing would be beneficial.

@TheLogan Have you looked into MC Edit to remove the fire or netherrack? I had an issue where I gave myself a star from one of the quest rewards and as soon as the star entered my inventory our world crashed. I ended up using MC Edit to clear that item from my inventory and it saved our world...

I have found 2 different locations in the overworld with blaze spawners on the surface with a few chests around them. Use hardened clay and set up a make shift spawn space and whackamole...ender pearls ugh is all I can say.

Yeah, the game mode is set to hardcore by default so that it forces you to play it carefully and not die! When you do die, you will have to start a new game, so be careful :)

It is a severe out of memory error that doesn't go away with a stop/start or restart.
