how about for the next few hours you play you keep f3 up and monitor the ram usage in the top right of the screen and then report what you find. if it ever hits 99 percent then memory is the problem and then while you keep monitoring it just start disableing things untill it stops going up like...

try opening f3 and monitoring the ram useage in the top right if it is starting out low and going up and up for no reason there is a memory leak somewhere. also try going into a superflat world and see if it still gives you the out of memory error.
