My intention was to download Mods that are in tekkit (such as compact solars) separately, then put them into the yogscraft mod pack. I do not know how to mod vanilla Minecraft, however. How would I go about doing that?

Hi, I'm new to mod packs and mods and all that, and I was wondering if anyone knows of a way I can quickly and simply add mods from tekkit, volts, ect. Please keep in mind I'm new at this so more simple instructions would help. Thanks much, Rockon.
