    Consuming Power

AE is relatively light on power usage... unless you tweak the configs of course. Not sure about AE2 though.

    Consuming Power

Unless you've gone into the configs and increased power-usage of some item/block or another... nope; nothing springs to mind. I agree with @Golrith, there's next to nothing that demands power on a level that even comes close to what you can produce, which is a shame. I wish more mods had...

    transfer nodes and sorting systems

You can put filters into the Node itself. Just craft a filter with a redstone torch to make it a "blacklist" filter, and plop it into the upgrade slots on the transfer node. Viola, it will no longer attempt to extract the item or items you have set.

    MineFactory Reloaded problem

<edited title is less of a problem> However I've noticed the same behaviour once or twice. Toggling a redstone signal resets everything and it generally works fine after that. I pulse my machines every now-and-then with a timer. Should clear up your problem until a fix is put into effect. Have...

A New Direction [BC API/RF API]

So, what happens when things are overloaded or over-supplied with RF? Is there any punishment for pushing your machines too far beyond normal parameters? How is this measured from both a GUI standpoint and at a casual glance? Which side has the problem? is it at the supply? The consumption? The...

    A Shitstorm

And things can go boom if you leave them unregulated for too long. It's actually the only punishment system I'm rather fond of; it takes time before it all goes to hell, rather than blowing up in your face the moment you do something "wrong", and there are regulation systems built-in to the mod...

I rather feel like the important part of my comment was glossed over in an effort to pointlessly debate definitions. o_O

    A Shitstorm

*shrug* Mechanical insofar that its "machines" doesn't use magic or electric power to achieve their goals, sure. But technically, pneumatic power are part of what's collectively called "Fluid Power", along with hydraulics.

    A Shitstorm

I'm not seeing it. It doesn't feel "mechanical".

    A Shitstorm

No mention of Pneumatic Craft's Pressure? I am dissapoint. I like RF, both as an API and in the way that it's implemented for the vast majority of mods that use it. I could stand a little more complexity, I could stand a little more depth... But I'm not going to act like I'm entitled to...

    Most/least efficient block(s) for 1.6.4 item automation ?

I also assume that they'll be better coded than vanilla hoppers. ;)

    Most/least efficient block(s) for 1.6.4 item automation ?

Connecting several inventories via a single "empty space" block with Filtered transfer and number regulation of items and liquids (with a very fast transfer speed) between inventories can be very helpful in compact spaces.

    Most/least efficient block(s) for 1.6.4 item automation ?

    Have you tried Translocators?

    Biofuel generators

Don't you want a Biogas engine? Such a setup would require a small constant supply of Lava also. Without a link to the vid in question it's hard to see what you're trying to replicate. Checking the vid in question; That's a positive power loop. Most mods have stopped those from occurring...

    Seed oil

Seed oil varies from seed to seed, so a "hard" number is only appropriate if you mention exactly which type of seed/nut you're squeezing.
