something else you could do is with the crafting paradises mod make the bedrock area a biome similar to a mushroom biome where no mobs spawn but make a custom biome so no mobs at all spawn and not make it a mushrom biome because mooshrooms will spawn if you put grass there. yea i was worrying...

The only thing i can think of with the bedrock is that it constantly is checking the bedrock to spawn on and simply cant and since there is so much of it it is just not allowing other blocks to check as often so your only solution is to probably change out the bedrock floor for another block if...

I Auctually have died twice to the special mobs and they make the nether well real hell and i removed that mod to see if they were affecting spawn rates but they weren't and i even went out at least 200 blocks from the main island and the spawn rates were still diminished i feel like it is the...

okay so i figured maybe my instance is bad with the whole no mobs spawning outside the spacial area so i install a completely new instance of the pack and i make a back up of my world and mobs still aren't spawning so i make a new world thinking that maybe my world is corrupt but well... no luck...
