You're on a mac, C:\FTB\ is a path for windows users only. Just pick a path where your user has write access to. For ex /Users/{insert-username-here}/FTB/

There's just one crucial difference. Movies have something called "motion blur". They do that so that even though it's 24fps it won't feel like 24fps. Try watching a movie without the motion blur effect on 30fps and 60fps.
