I have this same problem and I've replaced the engines, I think that if you're outputting too much power (I have 54 magmatic engines :3) that some of them will throttle down if hooked up to conduits to keep them from overheating. I can't be sure though (I use DW20 pack btw)

I did /butcher and it returns with 0 mobs killed every time, I've tried /butcher 50 passive and /butcher 50 all

I have forge essentials, the butcher command isn't killing the chickens.. I think it's only for hostile mobs?

Milk? How can milk be used as power? Also for whatever reason, a railcraft/mystcraft system crashes the server as when the minecart goes through the portal it leaves a ghost minecart that will cause everything to crash..

But seriously, lava was effective for my own home, but my other friends house has so many chickens in it that I can't even approach his house without my FPS dropping to 1..

Hi. One of my friends decided it would be a good idea to spawn massive amounts of chickens from mob eggs to each of the player's houses on my server. I got rid of all the chickens at his house by nuking it repeatedly. But it's going to take forever to get rid of all of the rest of the chickens...

I could see that, get enough thermopiles, use blutric engines, there you have enough buildcraft power, then convert up to industrial craft!
