just in case someone is interested i now got a 2560x1440 monitor and minecraft is running great in full screen. i guess my i5 cpu will not need to be upgrade ( it is slightly overclocked at 4.20 GHz )

thanx i have a hd 6990 and a hd 6950 graphics card and i5 processor i run battle field 3 on ultra high setting and it runs sweet, so my pc will run fine will minecraft. my concern was if the image would be stretched or distorted so if i run minecraft in a window it will be fine?

im looking at getting a ASUS PB278Q 27in monitor but i dont know what this will do to minecraft. im guessing it will be fine but there is no resolution settings (that i can fined) in the options. any help would be great.

ok maybe it was a bit over the top to tell people to calm down but the conversation seems to be going in circles a little. i dont want to put the FTB team or the modders under any more pressure. they do a great job and they do it for us. i was calm there was no ! at the end of the sentence :)

my god people calm down. maybe some of u dont know, but this is a game. if the FTB people put up a post telling u that this is what is happening with the packs, deal with it. if u dont like it go and start your on mod pack launcher.

its not just the number of frames its what the frames move. i had lined the side with water blocks from xycraft but i have put the tunnel bore in a myscraft age with no lava so i have remove them. its 35 high and 11 wide + the block breaker and im destroying the cobble, gravel and dirt with lava...
