So me and a friend have a monster server running off his pc. And his shit decided there would be a power surge at his house. Well now when we load the dang server this happens. It has been 3 or 4 hours since a backup so please just explain how to fix this someone. Thank you to anyone that replies.

Last time I fixed a corrupted world like this was 1.2.5, as my attempts in 1.5.2 didn't work. My advice is to either wait and see if someone here knows how to fix it, or just do roll back due to the corruption.

I hate roll backs I guess I can not be to mad. Is there some program I can install that like every hour or so it makes a back up of the world? I know on servers it auto saves every 15 to 30 mins but does that make a back up as well? Cause honestly I am sick of crashes and I hate doing stuff over even though Ill goto cheat mode to put it all back. It will still take me a bit to fix. Sorry if it seems like I am complaining a bit just ticked off

You can get AromaBackup or something similar for automatic backupping =)

That world version is actually dead, happens a lot when servers loose power, Minecraft just doesn' cope with it that great, and the archive get's corrupted.(was fixable in 1.2.5, but with 1.5+ it's not fixable anymore)
