So I want to farm mana beans and I don't know how and help would be appreciated I do t want to use golems if that's possible thanks :)

Not sure of automated, but you have to plant in magical biome(according to biome dictionary, magical forests and tainted lands can both server this purpose)

Harvest golem with order? upgrade (whatever gets it to replant). Fast gather golem (like straw or wood) since it cannot usually pick up more than one bean at a time anyway. all in magic biome like TC magic forest (natural or silverwood generated) or eerie biome from a sinister node.

Try this farm setup, it is what I use and produces good results especially when paired with growth enhancers like the lamp of growth or any other growth-tick thingies.

Update MFR, go to a biome with the magical tag (such as even a fungi forest, a garden or a cherry blossom grove), set the usual planter/harvester combo with jungle wood (or planter/fruit picker if you want to use any other wood), and it's done. Feel free to forget about beans while they get automatically harvested forever.

Cherry Blossom Groves do not work. I'm not sure if the other ones you listed as well will work or not, but I believe that Mana Beans are specified to grow in Magical Forest biomes only. As in the Thaumcraft specific Magical Forest.

Turtles...turtles can automate everything ;)

Direwolf has automated mana beans in his last few Single-Player YouTube episodes, starting with S6E30. He started with Turtles but quickly judged them insufficient.

He's now got grow lamps and a couple of golems and getting several beans a minute

I put a kinetic attractor in the ground under a hungry chest to collect the beans, have 4 walls just within reach of the attractor planted with beans 2 high, then use 2 wood harvest golems with order upgrade & tiny spectacles to break & replant. I think I would only need 1 golem if it were standing on the chest, but I pipe the beans straight up into the room above the farm. Placed right in front of the chest, the golem can see the wall in front, but needs the spectacles to see the walls to the sides, & can't see the wall behind.

The kinetic attractor seems to have a better range than vacuum hoppers, but you need a hungry chest between the beans & the attractor to get them into an inventory. If you want to get complicated, you could surround the attractor with vanilla hoppers (1 block lower) & send an intermittent redstone signal to the attractor to turn it on & off.

Unless this has changed recently, Cherry Blossom Groves are magical biomes, along with other ones Revemohl mentioned, as well as Ominous Woods, Sacred Springs, Jade Cliffs (I think), and probably a few others. I know I've planted mana beans in at least Cherry Blossom Groves and Sacred Springs.

Look in the BoP Github, any biomes with the Type.MAGICAL tag should work. This means Cherry Blossom Grove, Fungi Forest, Garden, (Thinned) Mystic Grove, (Thick) Ominous Woods, every Promised Lands biome, and Sacred Springs. AM2's Witchwood Forest and some other modded biomes might also have that tag, but I haven't personally checked it.
The only reason Direwolf couldn't plant mana beans on that tree in his LP was, most likely, because it was on a modded tree (BoP cherry, in particular).
