Bug report; rare misremembering of login info

I've just encountered for the second time what seems to be a rather rare bug in the current iteration of the launcher (v1.2.7) (first time was over a couple of weeks ago). Normally the launcher is happy to remember my login every single time I open it up, but occasionally when I click launch it tells me I have invalid login credentials. When I hit edit on my profile the password field shows an increased number of characters to what it should be.
Re-entering my password to be correct fixes this as a workaround, but what does appear to be happening is that it somehow double loads my password or something similar.

I've had the same issue for months. No idea if there's a workaround. Search the forums some more, it's possible some other people may have similar issues. Be careful searching with the word "password" as you'll get many posts from people who got MC illegally and are trying to use this launcher.

It's a scary number of people, really.

It really doesn't matter where it's posted. It's a known issue, and to my knowledge should be fixed in launcher v2
