Is there a backup for deleted saves?

I know this is very unlikely and the warning when deleting a map clearly states that its deleted forever, but I have accidentally deleted a save I had done a lot of work on and I was wondering if there is a back up. If not, I'm not surprised, but if there is then any help would be brilliant

Yep. Its also why you pay attention to make sure your deleting your test world and not your world world
