My housemate runs the Minecraft server we all play on. I've been nagging him for a while to upgrade our world from DW20 to Ultimate, and he's finally said okay. I'm currently upgrading, running through the config files to customise them and such, when I realised something annoying. Ultimate has Advanced Solars, not Compact Solars, and he and I have both built automated HV Solar Plants. As I'd rather like these not to break, I'd like to put Compact Solars back in the pack. How would I go about doing this?

Do BlockID's from DW20 stay consistent with those of ultimate? and you could just put the comactsolars.zip (or w/e it is called from your DW ~/minecraft/mods) and compactsolars.cfg from DW20 ~/Minecraft/config) into their respective folders in the ultimate folder. (both under your FTB install folder)

For both Server, and all clients!

Replace the Advanced Solar Panels mod with the CompactSolars one. We made the use the same IDs on purpose so a switch between both would be as seamless as possible.

Wait, does that mean that by default, any HV solars will automatically become Ultimate Hybrids?
