Details of the issue:
When I run FTB Trident it always pops up a window stating "You must use launcher version 1.4.6 or newer for this modpack to work correctly" and I downloaded the GNU/Linux launcher version ( the jar ) from the main page.
Is there a development version of the launcher?​

That happened to me too. That note is for future updates of the launcher. All you have to do is press OK and you're done. :)
