XU Question (I think) - Infinity Skyblock

Playing infinity Skyblock (and following the antics of Direwolf20) and I've reached a situation where I need to autocraft the water buckets used by Pams Harvestcraft. I see that Dire & Soaryn have achieved this quite early but I can't actually see what they are using to automate turning a water bucket or a water bottle into Pams water bucket.
Can anyone shed some light on how to achieve this, it looks like it's all pure XU and this is the first time I'm actually using transfer nodes/pipes with a vengeance, so my knowledge is limited.

I believed they used liquid transfer nodes w/ world interaction upgrades and Ender IO tanks

Ah, so the tank is seen as a "water bucket" in terms of recipes with XU's crafting system. Was racking my brain over all the liquid crafting options. I will test that. Thanks.

He might've also manually put buckets in, not sure.

he used a tiny chest to hold the full bucket and filtered transfer nodes to refill it in a enderIO tank filled by a liquid transfer node.
