The Community
Hello everyone, we are theMCXP minecraft community (The Minecraft eXperience). We have been around since minecraft Alpha, since before the Nether Update, since before Bukkit and all that. We hosted a server on home laptop using the now dated hMod wrapper which had a handful of plugins for it. We have come a long way since then... created a community, created a brand, created a home where players can come experience minecraft the way it should be experienced. We recently made some major changes on our server lineup, and decided to create our own FTB modpack, so we can decide what we would like in it, and when we want to update. We had been using the MindCrack modpack for several months, and it was going great! However, with Minecraft updating so many times since 1.4.7, we decided that we would sacrifice our world, redpower. We already lost some of our player base to being so outdated so we figured a fresh start was needed.
The Modpack
TechNet (Hard Mode w/ GregTech) This mod pack features the best tech oriented mods all set to Hard difficulty. We wanted and really enjoy the challenge that GregTech provides, but we wanted more mods than the Unhinged pack offered. So as of version 1.0.4, the current list of mods are as follows:

- Enter "mcxp-tech" into the private packs text field, and add it.
- Find "Xperience- TechNet" and click launch
- Connect to the server with the address "s1.themcxp.net"
