I was working on pulverizing some tin ore, and BOOM! My electrical engines explode, disintegrating all my IC2 machines and Thermal expansion machines near it, as well as myself and my inventory.

I thought Electrical engines weren't supposed to explode? (It even says it on the wiki!)

My power setup was:
Liquid Tesseract (Lava) → 7x7 Iron tank w/ Liquiducts → 4 Thermal generators → MFE w/ Insulated copper cables → 4 Electrical engines w/ 2x Insulated gold cables → Redstone energy cell w/ golden conductive pipes → 4 Pulverizers.

the 4 Thermal generators are from GregTech are you sure those didn't blow up? I'm not really familiar with GregTech so i could be totally wrong.

replace conductive pipes with conduits. prolly the thing that xploded.

And use glass fibres if you can, or replace the copple cable with ins gold cable. copper cable is for 32 EU/t. MFE outputs 128 eu/t

No Forestry engines will not explode on any circumstances Unless something near it does blow and then the engine will be gone. So yea it's is a bug, the thing will take any voltage and will cool down if there too much power in it.

No, the Thermal generators were fine.
The only machines that survived the explosion were the Thermal generators, the Iron tank, and the Redstone energy cell.

Ok, I'll try that. Thanks!

It sounds like he has copper cable going to the MFE, and the gold cable going to the electrical engines. So that's fine - unless it's more than a few blocks in distance in which case fibre cables would be preferable for both.

Regardless, I agree about replacing the conductive pipes. Those definitely could have exploded.

Conductive pipes will explode if too much power builds up in them. Sounds like you left the electrical engines running too long and the pipe backed up and exploded.
