I like the mod idea and the textures are fantastic.
I have to agree though:
Too much; the fact that it takes up more Blocks ids than any other mod I have seen speaks loudly. They were also a pain to have to remap. The number of seeds causes some overwhelmed feelings.
Seems somewhat hacked together; looking at plants with Waila shows 'broken' localization and almost all textures don't show up.

I would really like to see the mod be slit up into some modules; maybe a core module to softly immerse the player into the feel. Add 5 seeds, 5 crops, salt gen and maybe 10 new balanced foods. It wouldn't feel so overwhelming.
To be fair I haven't played it with Iguana hunger tweaks which also looks cool and people generally seem to like them together.

I know myself and many of the players on my server would love to see Pam's in Monster - even if it was disabled by default. @Eyamaz can that be a thing? :-p

Things that would improve Harvestcraft:
  • Eating the same thing repeatedly reduces it effectiveness.
  • Villagers require food in trade. Not a specific item, but anything that has a certain food level, ie snack, light meal, etc

Something I just found out that will help; While you are "Well Fed" you won't lose hunger. So that means you should always eat and run.

Good ideas, and its worth taking advantage of 'well fed' as it can last for a while with the right food
I'd like to see a seed chest or bag as there are so many types

I didn't even consider variety as a mechanic, good idea.

Stole my idea (previous page), thief! :p

Speaking of well-fed, get yourself some geostrata brown crystals and make the crystal. Put it down in your base and never have to eat again. Saturation 3 for 5 minutes. Restores your hunger bar even if you're starving. I now find myself forgetting to bring food on long treks...
