I got FTB today, downloaded FTB Ultimate, and no worlds that I try (seeds I find or new worlds) work! The game just 'loads' them but I never get in, I just get stuck at the world loading/rendering screen. If you have any suggestions feel free to drop them in, thank you for your time!

That's silly. I punch trees, but once they are logs I don't place them and punch them again. OMG.
Does the console say anything about Chicken Chunk crashes? Does it have anything about the Forge State being corrupted? If so, delete your FTB immediately and download a new one. This is, as of the moment, the only solution. Make sure to back up your worlds! If you have any. That you were able to create previously.
You don't know me! You don't know my situation! We punch logs, because they sicked their dogs on my fore fathers and took out three of them only leaving me with one father. He said to me, on his death bed, "Son, their bark isn't worse than their bite - punch those logs for me! Avenge me...." and he died. I felt terrible about it and the very next day I started my life of splinters in my knuckles. My friends tried calling me splinter, but it got under my skin and I told them to stop.
