Hi! Does anyone have any advice on pregenerating chunks in a sane way? Most of the methods that I could find either pointed at dead links, aren't compatible with 1.12.2 or leave gaps >.<

Doing the cunk-pregen with mods/plugins can of course be tricky based on what other mods are in the packs, compability and so on.
Therefore the vanilla commandblock way might be the way to sort it out:

So this is the solution that I ended up going with. Turns out that this guy has an updated and improved version of his command block script specifically aimed at 1.12+. It's a little cleaner and conveniently generates a theoretically infinite distance in a gradually expanding spiral from 0,0.
