World loading problem

When i was playing FTB (MINDCRACK) i flew into a redwood forest and landed to gather some wood but i took a massive fps drop and crashed twice in the same spot, now every time i try to open my world i just crash and get this

This is my main world and dont really want to loose it so if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated :)

at java.util.Random.nextInt(Unknown Source)
at cofh.world.WorldHandler.generateSurface(WorldHandler.java:108)

It looks like while generating the terrain it generated a random number that had to be positive but it wasn't so the game crashed, i.e. there's a bug. Even though it's a "random" number it's probably using the seed since this is related to world generation so it's actually getting the same number every time and it'll always be negative. The only solution I can think of is getting your player out of the area by manually editing your player.dat and never going back. You can modify it with nbtedit, just change your coordinates to somewhere you know is safe save it, and try to start the game again. It's located at savefolder/players/username.dat


btw next time read the crash log first and do what it says because the other log occasionally contains a very good reference at the beginning and less importantly, it is sometimes necessary to diagnose the issue.

I tried using NBTEDIT to change my coords as you said and i keep crashing on load would you like me to upload my crash report?
