world generation problems

when i load the world it loads 9-5 chunks only and stays that way and i cant open any GUI's.
i also have auto saves every 3min i think it is part of optifine so if you could tell me how to access it that will also be helpful

It maybe related to the chunk loading. Check out those options and try changing them. I personally if it is MC 1.5.2 or higher do not use optifine.
