Details of the issue:

was able to play fine and then one day i come back and it crashes when says loading world, not sure how to fix it​

You are missing textures. Have you got a Resource Pack enabled? If no then I suggest you reinstall the pack, don't forget to backup your worlds.

i have no texture packs installed, but how do i backup my world exactly?
