wont let me install minecraft launcher

Title wont let me install minecraft launcher

Details of the issue When i click install it says "one or more of the folders in the path contains a special, non-alphanumeric character" It didnt say this last time I downloaded curse minecraft client. after a couple months i chose to download it again, and now its giving me this error.

Did you try changing installation directory before hitting install button?

Yes, the only time it let me install it was if it was only in my C drive, not any deeper
