Won't Launch At All

I've been getting all kinds of different errors, i've reinstalled Java, and the most recent error i've been getting is:
Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for object heap

Welcome. Exactly which pack are you trying to run, the log did not say? If it is a 1.6.4 pack you should read this about 32bit Java/OS and most of the 1.6.4 packs. In short you cannot run most of the 1.6.4 packs as is on a 32bit system. FTB Lite2 is the only pack built for 32bit. ThatOneSlowing has reported being able to run Horizons and Magic Farm 2 on his 32bit computer, but your performance will vary. See the link above almost last post for details on his system.

If you are trying one of the non 1.6.4 packs or FTB Lite2 and still getting this error you will need to close some of the other programs you have running to enable minecraft to get more memory to run. I suggest only running minecraft and closing everything else.

Okay, it isn't working on FTBLite2 either, the whole thing crashed while the Console was going crazy.

Couple of questions as at the moment I'm not sure of the error, but these might hint at a reason or fix the problem.
How much RAM does your computer have? Try not to allocate too much. Leave about 1GB for XP.
Where do you have the launcher/packs installed? Please follow this basic troubleshooting guide to ensure it is in the recommended path.
How about the 1.5.2 packs? Same error or do they run fine?

I would try Unleashed or Direwolf20.

1.5.2 Unleashed Works fine, but i'm trying to play on my friends 1.6.4 Direwolf20 server. Do I need to have the same Modpack to play on his server?
