Wither Skeleton Spawner not spawning?

Hey guys, I made a Wither Skeleton shard and got it to T5. Problem is when I put it into a soul cage, it simply does not spawn anything, regardless of light level or if I apply a redstone signal or not. Anybody know why this could be happening?

I'm running FTB Ultimate Pack v1.0.1 if that helps. Thanks!

Not sure about Ultimate. But DW20 pack you Still need a Player nearby to run it.
Set mine going, went off a did something else "Nothing". AFK'ed by it and got like 5 Stacks of Coal in less than Half an Hr.

That is not my problem since not only am I standing next to it, but I have a chunk loader up and running nearby. There really shouldn't be any reason why its not working, which is why I'm so confused right now.

You didn't break the Spawner after placing it did U? Pretty Sure if you try to move it after placing that T5 it downgrades.

Ok heres One for Ya. I mention Due the Fact I did It myself.
Stuffed Up! Had My Wither Spawner set to the Same Feq as My Farms. So when I turned on My Spawner Nothing Happened. This is of Course If U are using Wireless to Start your Spawner.

I wish that was my problem lol. I actually had to remove all my wireless redstone items because it was crashing my server every few hours

OK. Don't play Ulitmate. But from what I read...It's All Hard Core. Do U have your Wither Spawner in the Overworld? If So try Placing in in the Nether instead as this Is where Withers actually Spawn. May be the Difference?
Apart From that I have No Freaking Idea.

Too bad I already tried that, but its alright though. Thanks for your help! And as far as Gregtech goes, its not too bad once you're used to it. The secret is industrial centrifuges and electrolyzers

How big is the area you're placing the spawner in? There needs to be 2 blocks of air above the spawner if I remember correctly.

It is in the center of a 7x7 area with a couple spaces open above it.

Remember that those Withers are a "Three Tall Entity." Is your Spawner only Two off the Ground?
Maybe Increase to 9x9 and see what happens.

Gawd. Don't feel terrible It anit worth it.
Maybe it's a Height thing? Is there a Spawn Height for Withers?
I have No Idea. Mine is pretty low to the bedrock though and works fine. With DW20 5.3.2
Edit: Sorry reading again. 20 off the Ground meaning Bedrock?

Are you certain it isn't receiving a redstone signal from some other source that you're somehow missing?

20 off the ground as in my ground level. But I think i fixed it now. I moved it down from where it was, which was pretty high (84) and brought it down to about 60. Interestingly enough, it wouldn't work until I put down a level next to it, even w/o turning it on. So I guess it was probably an issue of height and the lever served to reset the spawner. Thanks again to everyone who tried!
