Wither Doesn't Deal Wither Damage?

Title Wither Doesn't Deal Wither Damage?

Modpack Infinity Evolved

Modpack version 3.0.2

Have you modified the pack? No

Details of the issue So, basically it's the same as what the title says. Ever since I started the server up and the first Wither was fought, it dealt regular direct damage, but never applied the Wither effect. Can anyone explain why this is and if there's a possible fix?
