What is the bug? The Wither Boss Death Muffler is not working. It's not muting the sound or hiding the boss bar.

Yes, I enabled it.

• Did you leave the area or change the dimension and then return? Yes, I did both and everyone on the server can still hear it.
• Does re-logging fix the issue? No and I've also restarted the server.

Just upgraded the server to 1.7.0 and we are still having this issue. (I would have gone to 1.7.1 but the server zip wasn't on the site yet.)

@Mountaindewm @Ozoneman42 Are you running Sponge or Optifine on Client/Server?

I have this same problem and i do use Optifine.

Are you able to remove optifine and see if the issue still occurs?

Also can confirm this still happens without Optifine.. Also good to note that the sound muffler from extra utilities 2 does work without any problems.

@MrSapient Would you mind answering the question as to whether you're running a Bukkit/Spigot/Sponge server?

I do not.. i use CreeperHost and they install the FTB forge server.

Okay so I've just looked into this a bit more.

- The wither boss sound and the dragon sound are muted regardless of those blocks because of the mod Bad Wither No Cookie (That's the withers global spawn sound and the ender dragons global death sound)
- The boss bar part only works in singleplayer from my testing.

I will go ahead and report it best as I can to the mod author and hope that it gets addressed. Again apologies for the time its taken to get to this.
