witchery curse of insanaty

when i try to put the curse of insanaty on my friend. the things get sugt in the ring but they pop out again and does nothing. i checed that i have anoth altar power. and there was a thunder storm anyone know whats wrong?

Yes, but do you have at least 2000 Altar power? Not a maximum of 2000+, but actually containing 2000+ when you right click on the heart glyph. Does it say anything in chat when it spits the items back out?
